Ravi Verma Was In A Fix
Ravi Verma said, "I was scheduled to choreograph the stunts for
Brindaavana, just then I got a call from Salman's brother Sohail Khan
asking if I could work on Jai Ho. I was in a fix as I was committed to
work with Darshan."
Sandalwood's famous stunt director Ravi Verma , who choreographed many
daredevil action scenes for Darshan 's movies, is working with Salman
Khan in his upcoming flick Jai Ho .
Earlier, the crew had started shooting the film with the working title
as Mental, later they re-named the movie as Jai Ho. It is the remake of
Tollywood superhit Stalin, which had Mega Star Chiranjeevi and Trisha in
the lead roles, and was directed by South ace director AR Murugadoss.
Speaking to Oneindia, Ravi Verma said, "This is a lifetime opportunity
for me, and my dream has come true. I am very happy to work with a
superstar of Bollywood, Salman Khan. He is very simple and easy going
with every single person on the set."
Ravi, who has also worked with Shahid Kapoor in Rambo Rajkumar, will be
moving to Sri Lanka in November to complete the next schedule of Jai Ho.
He credits his success to Darshan and his movies. He said that he could
to take up the project only because of him.
Apart from Kannada and Hindi films, Ravi Verma has also directed fight
sequences for various Tamil and Telugu movies. Till now, he has
choreographed daredevil action scenes in more than 200 films.
