Latest: First Day Boxoffice Collection Reports of Salman Khan's Sultan Blockbuster

There are certain films where the debate is whether they would turn out to be Superhits or Blockbusters at the Box Office. Salman Khan’s Sultan is one such film. While his star power has ensured that on Day One itself it is marching towards the Superhit status, Ali Abbaz Zafar’s story and direction gives a good indication that the film could well be moving towards being a Blockbuster no less.

"Sultan" is a sports-drama film with a good dose of romance, music and emotional quotient. Director Ali Abbas Zafar has written the story, while producer Aditya Chopra has penned the screenplay for the movie, which deals with the story of heart, passion and grit in Sultan Ali Khan, a wrestler from Haryana. It is about how Sultan brings to life his story of love and determination against all odds.

Sultan Ali Khan (Salman Khan) is a wrestler from a small town in Haryana and he has problems in his professional and personal lives. How he fights against all odds to achieve global fame, winning bouts at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, the 2011 FILA Wrestling World Championships in Istanbul and the 2012 London Olympics, forms the crux of the story.

The audience say "Sultan" has an interesting story that offers a brilliant message to the public. Aditya Chopra has created an arresting screenplay and he has embedded some commercial ingredients that make the film a good entertainer. The director has a good grip on the narration, which keeps viewers engaged throughout the movie.

As a wrestler, Salman Khan has delivered sterling performance and his hard work is clearly visible. In fact, "Sultan" is his show. We all know very well about the tiff between Colors channel and Kapil Sharma. One of the main reasons why Kapil and the entire team quit was because of a lot of reasons pertaining to difference in opinion with the producers of Colors. Of course, post their exit, the channel came up with Comedy Nights Live that hasn’t been very well appreciated. And Kapil shifted to the rival channel I.e. Sony. Sultan's Advance Bookings Open To A Huge Response Ticket worth 1.2 lakhs sold in 2 hours

Sultan advance bookings have already received tremendous response from Salman Khan fans – the latest movie will be released on Eid day which is on July 6 and as was expected there is a huge rush already to corner the first tickets being made available as they look to check it out at the earliest. The first mover’s advantage being that they get all the boasting rights and the chance to be the first to pass judgement on it. They also hold the word-of-mouth power, which can itself make or break a movie during its opening week itself.
The extent of the rush can be gauged that within hours of Sultan advance bookings opening, the distributors have run out of tickets in many areas for the first day shows and the opening weekend itself is fast running out available tickets. This happens often for movies that star Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan and of course, Salman Khan. To a lesser extent this kind of a rush is also seen in Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan movies too. Kick has collected 0.18 cr on 5th week Saturday taking the 30 days total lifetime box office collections to 232.2 cr. The 30th day collections saw a drop of around 80 % from the fourth week. Kick should finish the fifth week with around 233 cr and a lifetime of may be 234 cr at the box office. Kick should have a fifth weekend of around 0.50 cr which will be drop of around 70 % from the fourth weekend

Kick is running in around 100 screens and the movie has almost ended its run in most of the circuits and will end its run in other circuits by the end of the fifth week. By the end of its run Kick will be around 15 % less than Dhoom 3 lifetime box office collections. In terms of gross ( nett + entertainment tax) collections, Kick domestic gross total is around 310 cr

After The Record Breaking Success of Ek Tha Tiger in 2012, Yash Raj Banner is Again Teaming up with The Biggest Bollywood Actor Salman Khan and The News is Confirmed. It was in News Since Quite a Long Time and Now The Khan Himself Confirmed That He is Doing Another Film with The Big Banner YRF and It is Titled as “Sultan”. Such an Awesome Title, Don’t You Think So ?

This is Salman’s Second Venture with The Banner and The Film will be Directed by One of The Most Talented Directors of B-Town, Shimit Amin Who had Directed Some Well Received Films in Bollywood So Far So This Project is Something to Wait For. No Doubt It will be Filled Up with Quality and Salman will Make it Bigger For Sure. Though Not Confirmed Yet But What I am Hearing is, The Film Might Release on Eid of 2016 [No News on Shooting] and You Know Salman’s Film on Eid Means Sure Shot Blockbuster and This One will not be Any Difference.
