Thousands of fans are thronging the streets around the Silver City theatre in Brampton this afternoon as Bollywood megastar Salman Khan comes to town for the music launch of upcoming comedy Dr. Cabbie.
Around 3,000 fans, drawn from all over the GTA, were hoping to catch a glimpse of the Dabang star as he as appears alongside event host Lilly Singh, a hugely popular Indo-Canadian YouTube personality known as "Superwoman," and Dr. Cabbie cast members Vinay Virmani, Kunal Nayyar and newcomer Isabelle Kaif.
Khan's appearance has caused an online frenzy as fans wait for the chance to briefly meet their idol.
