Salman Khan is one of the successful Bollywood actors and the biggest star in the Indian Film Industry. He has a huge fan following. The India’s biggest superstar has completed his 25 years in Bollywood. He is commonly known as Sallu Bhai by his relatives and close friends including the public. Sallu Bhai’s full name is Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan. He was born on 27th of December 1965. He is the son of Salim Khan, the famous screen writer and actor of the Bollywood industry. He started his acting career with the role of a supporting actor in the movie Biwi Ho Tho Aisi in 1988. One year later he gave his debut Blockbuster movie, Maine Pyaar Kiya opposite Bhagyashree Patwardhan in which he had played a lead role. Sallu’s next hit movies were Saajan in 1991 with the co-stars of Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun in 1994, Pyar Kiya Tho Darna Kya in 1998 and the most hit was Biwi No.1 in 1999.
Salman Khan is the son of the Bollywood Actors, Salma and Salim Khan. He has two brothers, namely, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Ali Khan who both are also the successful actors of the film industry. Her sister-in-law is Malaika Arora Khan. She is also a successful Bollywood Actress.
Sallu Bhai never is very sensitive. He never uses a handkerchief not even a tissue. He always uses a malmal fabric cloth to wipe his nose.
Sallu’s first girlfriend was Sangita Bijlani in 1980. She was the famous model and actress. They both were in a serious relationship but later broke up due to some issues. Later, it was rumored to date AISHWARYA RAI. Their Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam was a Blockbuster hit. The couple broke up. Then, he was dating Katrina Kaif but broke up with her too.
Sallu bhai is famous for his blue gem studded bracelet which is always found on his wrist. He believes it to be lucky for him. His father, Salim Khan also wears the same kind of bracelet.
He is a good painter. This art of creativity is inherited by him from his mother, Salma. The actor is usually found to gift his friends the paintings painted by him.
When he is not shooting, he loves to stay at his Farm house. He prefers to stay at home rather than shooting outside the city for his movies. The Hero loves to have Chinese food. His favorite restaurant is China Garden in Mumbai. Sallu Bhai is the brand Ambassador of a shoe Brand but in reality he loves to walk bare foot in his garden.
The Hero is usually seen cycling on the roads of Mumbai. He prefers cycling than to ride on a four-wheeler. Sallu is a very kind-hearted and charitable personality.
The 47 years actor is still a bachelor. Whenever he is asked about his marriage his answer remains diplomatic. The Hero was serious for his marriage only at the time when he was dating, Somy Ali.
Sallu mostly reaches his shooting destinations without bathing and gets freshen up in his vanity only during shoots.
He has planted many plants and trees in the areas of Bandra Bandstand.
Some years ago Salman has no one to handle his finance that’s why he used to hand over his cheques received from the shootings to his father. But, now he has professionals finance managers to look after his accounts and finance department.
He was the first choice of the producers of the movie, Bazigar but he couldn’t act in the movie for some issues.
Sallu never reads the reviews for his movies nor does he
watches the movies of his Ex-girlfriend, Katrina Kaif. Salman is friend of his ex-girlfriends except Aishwariya Rai Bachchan. The actor never feels awkward while shooting opposite the Actress of his half age, except for Kareena in Kyuki because she used to be on his sets in frocks being a kid when Sallu used to shoot with her Elder sister, Lolo.
He is the only actor who was known for his late arrival on the shooting sets.
Mr. Sallu is known for his generosity. His generosity can be quoted from many incidents. One of them was once an old lady queued up in front of his house and was begging for a computer for her son as she could not afford. The HERO spoke ‘arrey woh jo laptop mujhe kisi ne gift kia tha inko dedo mai waise bhi kya karunga uska’. Sallu is appreciated by all for his charitable functions. At present he is financing the education of many orphan and needy kids.

Salman’s father usually says to him whenever he gives an excuse for coming home late that ‘tera har problem raat k gyarah baje se lekar subah teen baje tak hi aata hai’.
