Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" has finished only five days at the box office and it has already achieved blockbuster status. After having a phenomenal fourth day (Monday), "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" went on to collect Rs 21.40 crore on its fifth day at the domestic box office. Kabir Khan's directorial film has already earned Rs 150 crore from its domestic box office within six days, making it the highest grossing Bollywood film of 2015.
"Bajrangi Bhaijaan" has shattered the lifetime box office collection records of Kangana Ranaut starrer "Tanu Weds Manu Returns". Kangana's film earned Rs 150.77 crore in its eight weeks run at the domestic box office, while "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" earned Rs 151.05 crore in just five days.
Not only "Tanu Weds Manu Returns", Salman's film has also shattered the records of his previous films "Dabangg" and "Bodyguard". "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is the 12th highest grossing Bollywood film of all time.

From its opening day, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" has been raking in record breaking collections from the domestic box office. While in its opening weekend the film crossed Rs 100 crore mark, on its fourth day the film minted a whopping Rs 27.05 crore.

On its fifth day, the collection dropped by approximately 25%, but it still managed to earn more than Rs 20 crore. Looking at its opening week pace, one can predict that the film will soon touch Rs 200 crore mark at the domestic box office with its net income.
Salman starrer "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" also features Kareena Kapoor Khan in the female lead role, while Harshaali Malhotra plays the role of a mute Pakistani girl and Nawazuddin Siddiqui as a Pakistani reporter.
