Sultan's Advance Bookings Open To A Huge Response Ticket worth 1.2 lakhs sold in 2 hours

Sultan advance bookings have already received tremendous response from Salman Khan fans – the latest movie will be released on Eid day which is on July 6 and as was expected there is a huge rush already to corner the first tickets being made available as they look to check it out at the earliest. The first mover’s advantage being that they get all the boasting rights and the chance to be the first to pass judgement on it. They also hold the word-of-mouth power, which can itself make or break a movie during its opening week itself.
The extent of the rush can be gauged that within hours of Sultan advance bookings opening, the distributors have run out of tickets in many areas for the first day shows and the opening weekend itself is fast running out available tickets. This happens often for movies that star Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan and of course, Salman Khan. To a lesser extent this kind of a rush is also seen in Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan movies too. The former having mastered the art of catering to the masses by releasing a number of films frequently to milk as much as is possible from his own mass appeal. The frmula has evidently worked.

Sultan ticket worth RS 1.20 lakh was sold within 2 hours was a dream record.

That the strategy may well be working is clear form the fact that, multiplexes have planned as many as 12 and more shows to take as much advantage of the movie as possible and thereby ensure the rush of viewers is not turned back. While day shows are extremely popular, the night shows tickets were amongst the first to run out for the initial few days including the opening weekend. In fact, there are reports saying that multiplexes are so besotten with the Sultan magic that they will screen nothing but this Salman starrer. In effect, they are doing Sultan a favour as they are killing off all the competition that Salman may have faced.

Coming back to Sultan, while the topic is quite down-to-earth and dirty (deals with wrestling in the dirt), there is no one like Salman Khan to sex up the scenes with his charisma to ensure his star remains on the ascendant. Also, to increase its reach and turn it into a must-watch phenomenon for the man on the street, Salman Khan, with Sultan, has made a regional foray – the sport is extremely popular in northern states especially Haryana and Punjab and the interest there has been tremendous indeed. Expectations are that this will beef-up the numbers tremendously in theatres – the given part being that all of Salman’s fans will in any case watch the movie.
So, brace for the Sultan impact on Friday as Salman Khan again captivates India with his charisma! Keep watching this space for more updates.
