Aamir Khan’s much-awaited action adventure flick Dhoom:3 is around the corner and instead of thronging on television reality shows, the marketing wizard is promoting his next quite unconventionally. Firstly, the makers have decided not to release full songs of their films until it hits the screens. The whole peek-a-boo strategy is just to up the curiosity within the audience. We aren’t sure if that’s working considering we haven’t liked whatever little we have heard or seen of the songs. But that’s not all! The Dhoom:3 baddie is doing a bit on his own for the film. So far we have seen him wear his trademark Dhoom:3 hat at every event but now his jigri dost Salman Khan is also flaunting the same hat on his reality show Bigg Boss 7. Wethinks it’s a smart move coz whatever Sallu wears or does grabs attention instantly, no?
In fact, in a recent interview Azad Rao Khan’s daddy dearest confessed that he asked his Being Human friend to wear the bowler hat at an event so that his film’s publicity is done. Salman, who loves to go out of his way for his friends, said he would rather wear the hat on his show. So even though the Talaash actor doesn’t fancy going on reality shows, his film is any which ways getting promoted through the platform most actors swear by. Now that’s how you market a film without going against your ethics. Wicked…wink wink!
