Salman Khan’s fans are going crazy with their favorite hero’s upcoming release Kick.
Not only did the trailer of Kick create a huge buzz on the social media, but also the release of the first song of the film, Jumme Ki Raat, within a day’s of its release is on everybody’s lip. Now the latest news is that Kick is to be India’s biggest release of all times releasing in more than 5000 screens.
The record for the biggest release yet is held by Aamir Khan and Abhishek Bachchan’s Dhoom: 3 which released across 4700 screens including its Tamil and Telugu releases.
Salman’s brother Arbaaz recently at the Gillette initiative – Because You Are A Role Model, told reporters that Kick will be Sallu’s biggest hit ever.
“I am pretty sure that the film will be Salman’s biggest hit, inshallah,” he said. Arbaaz admitted to having been supremely impressed by the type of response the film got from the audiences. He also said he like how Salman looked in his new avatar for Kick. “Right from the film’s look to the way it has been shot, the way his character is looking in the film, I personally feel this film will be a ‘dhamaka’. A big blockbuster is awaiting us,” Arbaaz said, according to an India Today report.
Kick is also going to be Sajid Nadiadwala’s debut as a film director. So there can be no doubt about the fact that the veteran producer is making his best efforts to turn his first directorial into India’s biggest film, a feat currently held by Dhoom: 3.
Kick will also have popular writer Chetan Bhagat as a part of its writing team. This is the first time Bhagat is writing for a film which is not based on one of his novels.
Kick releases on July 25, on the grand occasion of Eid.
