Here's how Salman Khan beat Shah Rukh Khan yet again

Undeniably, Salman Khan is the ruler of the box office. With his films bringing in huge moolah and his career boasting of multiple blockbusters in the past few years, Salman Khan has dethroned Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan from the top spots.

While Aamir still manages to bring in huge numbers, so does Shah Rukh. But the euphoria and anticipation around Bhai's films is unmatchable. With 2014 drawing to a closure and Salman's Kick standing the tallest in the numbers game, our Dabangg Khan has already beaten SRK in this year's Forbes' list.

But he seems to have done it again. Google survey on Tuesday revealed that Salman Khan is the most searched celebrity on the Internet in the year that is about to end. With films like Jai Ho and Kick in the theatres and his Bigg Boss 8 stint on the small screen, Salman seemed to have been there everywhere throughout the year.

Following Salman is SRK who comes a close second. SRK, who has been in news for his magnum opus Happy New Year right since the first poster release in the first quarter of 2014, lost out to Salman Khan in this context. SRK's HNY also did brilliant business at the box office, becoming the second biggest grosser in India and the biggest grosser overall. But when it came to star power, he seemed to have lost it again to good friend Salman.

Surprisingly, the other Khan- Aamir did not even make it to the top 10 list which includes actors like Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor and others. While Akshay and Ranbir enjoy the 3rd and 4th spot, Shahid Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Varun Dhawan occupied the 5th, 6th and 7th spots.

Also joining them on the list was Ranveer Singh, Fawad Khan and Emraan Hashmi who occupied the 8th, 9th and 10th spots respectively.
