The `Jai Ho` actor will be seen doing a cameo in the film, speaking Marathi in full swing. Salman has played a character called `Bhau` in the movie. A somewhat smooth transition from being a universal `Bhai` to Marathi `Bhau`--Salman does it with élan.

`Lai Bhaari` released on July 11, 2014 and is directed by Nishikant Kamat. The film marks the acting début of Riteish Deshmukh, who has been producing Marathi films for quite some time now.
